What is ABC - Alumni Business Council?

  • To add significant value to the services offered by PSG Tech Alumni Association Chennai Chapter, an Alumni Business Council is being set up for the benefit of our Alumni Entrepreneurs. Its primary goal is to leverage the vast pool of knowledge, experience, and expertise of our alumni to educate, enable and empower the alumni in diverse ways to manage and promote their businesses and to help them address their concerns, challenges, and needs effectively and efficiently.
  • ABC will act as an interface between alumni entrepreneurs and various Government/Quasi-Government Departments, Chambers of Commerce like FIICI, ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, etc. and MMA to facilitate cooperation and expeditious resolution of concerns/challenges and needs of the alumni.
  • Initially, alumni would be inducted as members of ABC with an annual membership fee to avail the diverse services and an exclusive facility proposed to be set up for the use of ABC members.
  • Alumni who currently own businesses or those proposing to start their own are encouraged to avail this wonderful initiative and benefit immensely.

Features of ABC

ABC Membership

Open to any PSG Tech alumnus who is an entrepreneur, planning to start an entrepreneurial venture, or serving in a senior management position anywhere across the globe.

Network Meeting

i) Dinner cum Online Meeting for members, with online participation available for those residing abroad. This session will serve as an informal networking meet/get-together.
ii) Guest Lecture Session featuring domain experts, covering topics chosen by ABC members to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
iii) Industry Visits to the ABC members' facilities, organised quarterly by ABC, to facilitate knowledge sharing and practical insights.

Facilities

Further the proposed exclusive facility with many features like conference hall, work stations, Coffee Shop, secretarial service, Recreation room etc., can be availed by the member of ABC.

i) Existing Paid Members of PSG TAA Chennai Chapter.
ii) Payment of ABC Membership Fee on Registration (it will be informed)
