The PSG Tech Alumni Chennai Chapter proudly organized its Inaugural Badminton Festival 2026, marking a significant milestone in promoting fitness, fellowship, and alumni engagement. The event brought together alumni and their families for a day filled with spirited competition, laughter, and meaningful connections.
Hosted in a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere, the tournament featured exciting matches across five categories—Kids, Men’s (<45), Men’s (>45), Women’s, and Mixed Doubles. The event attracted 49 unique alumni registrations, with a total gathering of 70 alumni and family members, out of which 52 participants attended. Adding to the success, 8 new members joined the Chennai Chapter through this initiative, reinforcing the event’s role in strengthening the alumni network.
The day began on an energetic note with a warm-up and stretching session led by Mr. Madhu, who prepared participants for the tournament while emphasizing the importance of fitness, injury prevention, and sportsmanship. His engaging session set the perfect tone for an exciting day of badminton.

The cheering from families and spectators added to the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
